EVENT REPRESENTATIVE IS THE ONLY PERSON ALLOWED TO ASSIGN SEATING POSITIONS
AROUND THE EVENT RING AS WELL AS APPROVE PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER /
CAMERAMAN LOCATIONS PROMOTER MAY REQUEST OR SUBMIT A SEATING CHART TO
BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE IKF PRIOR TO THE EVENT. SUCH A
SEATING CHART / REQUEST MUST BE RECEIVED AT IKF HEADQUARTERS A MINIMUM THREE
DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
ALONG WITH THE FIGHT TEAMS CURRENTLY PARTICIPATING IN THE
BOUT OFFICIALS AND EVENT STAFF ONLY AT
RINGSIDE! NO SPECIAL FAN PRIVILEGES!
- FIGHT RING RULES & REQUIREMENTS
- WHO IS REQUIRED OR ALLOWED AT THE
RINGSIDE TABLES
- REQUIRED - MANDATORY
- Event Officials and Event Personnel ONLY are allowed to sit at the
Ringside Tables. This is NOT a Spectator Area and NO GUESTS of
Officials will be allowed to sit at Ringside. All at ringside must be 18 years
of age or older. The event Officials shall include;
- IKF EVENT
REPRESENTATIVE
- IKF SCOREKEEPER
- IKF
JUDGES
- There must be a minimum of "2 FEET OR 1 CHAIR WIDTH"
between each Judge and anyone else.
- Judges CAN NOT Talk to anyone other than the Referee or IKF Representative
during the duration of the bout which includes the round breaks.

- Additional Individuals allowed at Ringside must be approved by the IKF Event Representative ONLY!

Event Representative.
- Photographers may only shoot photos from the NEUTRAL Corners of the ring as
approved by the IKF
Event Representative.
- Photographers must STAY in the area of the ring as informed by the IKF
Event Representative!!!
- Photographers: DO NOT Stand straight up in front of the event crowd when at
Ringside. Keep down so you do not block others views.
- Photographers must stay out of the Ring and off the ring apron while the
entirety of the bout is ongoing.
- NO Flash Photography or Camera Phone Lights ON at Ringside or within 30
feet of the edge of the fighting ring.
- Flashes & Camera Phone Lights can temporarily blind a fighter which
could lead to serious injury of the blinded fighter.
- AT THE END OF EACH BOUT: With Approval of the IKF
Event Representative, You may enter the Ring To Take Photos.
- VIDEO CREW
- Cameramen filming shall have their filming location confirmed by and "MUTUALLY"
agreed upon by the IKF
Event Representative and the Event Promoter PRIOR to the beginning
of the event.
- ALL Video Crews used on an IKF
Sanctioned event can only be approved by the IKF
Event Representative.
- During a Bout, Cameramen can ONLY shoot from the SQUARE of the Neutral (WHITE)
Corner - Ask IKF
Representative of this location OR:
- On a cameraman stand or platform, as long as the location has been "MUTUALLY"
agreed upon by the IKF
Event Representative and the Event Promoter.
- They may NOT wonder outside the SQUARE of the Neutral (WHITE)
Corner during the fighting round, but may do so during round breaks.
- May move towards a fighters corner during round breaks but MUST abide by
the timekeepers "SECONDS OUT" warning to RETURN to the Square of the
Neutral (WHITE) Corner.

- RING ANNOUNCER - MC
- RING GIRLS & ASSISTANTS
- Best to be kept in seats between the first audience row and the ring itself
instead of at the ringside tables.
- NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY
- NO Flash Photography or Camera Phone Lights ON at Ringside or within 30

- NO CHEERING
- No "CHEERING" by those sitting at the ringside tables.
- Those seated at the ringside tables are "Event Officials, Ring
Crew & NEEDED Promoter Staff or Only," ALL Should Be Neutral to
each and every fighter.
- For this reason, Cheering of a fighter while sitting at a ringside table is
prohibited.
- SHARP OBJECTS
- No Sharp Objects are allowed at Ringside that point upward such as
trophies. These items may cause serious injury if a fighter falls out of a ring.
- N0 ALCOHOL!
- No ALCOHOLIC Beverages of ANY kind are allowed at ANY of the Ringside
Tables.
- DRINKS
- Can only be in a paper or plastic container. (Canned Soda OK)
- All drinks must be in an enclosed PLASTIC bottle or, if an open cup, be
placed under the table at all times.
- This avoids any drinks splashing or spilling on important paperwork if a
fighter falls out or steps out of the ring onto a ringside table.
- Also to avoid any fluids splashing in the drinks. (Blood for example)
- NO GLASS
- Glass Containers, drink containers, plates, trays etc. at all are NOT
allowed at ringside.
- If a fighter were to slip out of the ring he/she could fall on a glass
container. plate etc. and get cut. ending the bout.
- FOOD
- ALL FOOD, if any, at or on any of the ringside tables must be covered when
a bout is in progress to avoid any fluids splashing on the food. (Blood for
example)
- JUDGES SEPARATION
- There must be a minimum of 2 feet or 1 chair width on each side of each
event judge to allow his/her privacy of judging each bout.
- NO ONE may sit by an event judge while a bout is taking place
UNLESS one judge is training another as approved by the IKF Event Representative.

- No "VOICED COMMENTATING" with a microphone to the
event audience by ANYONE when a bout is in progress. Commentating for TV is of
course allowed.
- There shall be NO TALKING by the Ring Announcer over the microphone or
ANYONE over a Microphone during a "REAL" bout.
- Talking is ONLY allowed during "EXHIBITION" bouts and of course
during the round breaks.
- The Ring Announcers job is to fully represent the event to the public in an
official and professional manor.
- The Ring Announcer shall NEVER use Profanity over the microphone that the
crowd will hear.
- If the Ring Announcer uses ANY Profanity over the Event PA/Microphone,
he/she could be fined up to the amount of $1,000.00 by the IKF Event Representative and banned from the event.
- He is to read all the bout results as requested to him by the IKF Event representative which shall include EXACT
bout scores or EXACT times of a stoppage.
- For this purpose we recommend all Ring Announcers use the announcement
cards provided by the IKF which can be
found by clicking HERE.
- NO FOUL or ABUSIVE Language Spoken!
If
the MC Speaks any such FOUL or ABUSIVE Language they will be subject to fines by
the IKF of up to $500.00 "PER WORD".
- DJ's
- DJ (Music) Regulations - CLICK HERE.
- MUSIC: There shall be NO MUSIC played during a bout.
- However, some MuayThai bouts, the fighters may request it during their bout
which is acceptable if BOTH FIGHTERS agree to it.
- Fighter or Event Music with abusive lyrics and or foul language will NOT
BE TOLERATED!
- DJ's" Please review ALL "UNKNOWN"
fight music BEFORE the event.
If you play such music You will be warned.
After your first warning, "YOU"
will be fined by the
IKF Event Representative a minimum of
$500.00.
- Fighters are required to request music that would be suitable for "FAMILY
- PRIME TIME - NETWORK" Television viewing. NOT Cable TV!
- NO MUSIC Played At ANYTIME
During An IKF Sanctioned Event Shall Have "ANY"
FOUL or ABUSIVE Language Spoken!
If the D.J. plays such music they
will be subject to fines by the IKF which begin at
$500.00 "PER WORD".
